Where Have All the Flowers Gone?

What happens to flowers after your wedding?

They go to folks who love them!

We are lucky to have an amazing couple, Jen and Brent, come every Sunday when we have leftover flowers (with their famous therapy dog Bella!). They spend their afternoon breaking down wedding flowers into bouquets for residents at the local nursing home. It’s far more sustainable (and a heck of a lot more gratifying) than tossing such beauty away.

There is much anticipation each week, as residents wonder what might be coming, and the flowers light up rooms and hearts for people who can often feel forgotten.

We are so grateful for Jen and Brent’s kindness, and the generosity of our couples who want to share love-infused flowers with those who can use some sparkle.

These are flowers from Maria and Peter’s wedding this week, all ready to head to their new adoring fans.
