A new Trout Tales 2016 Logo!
We’re way jazzed about our new Trout Tales 2016 logo.
Trout Tales 2016: A Fly-Fishing Celebration on Saturday, March 26, is shaping up to be a truly amazing event… In addition to graphics we love (looks like an old fashioned patch, doesn’t it?), there are lots of things to be excited about.
Like our group of presenters, all of them world-class fishermen and/or guides, leaders in the fishing and hiking communities. In addition to all of the cool hands-on activities and toys to explore throughout the afternoon, we are delighted to feature some great guys who will give short presentations. We are celebrating Trout Unlimited at this event, and we’re lucky to have a number of their revered experts from the Ashokan-Pepacton chapter sharing their wisdom with us.
Ready? Here they are…
1:30 Ed Ostapczuk, Trout Unlimited Board Member: romance of fly-fishing
2:15 Lenny Millen, Trout Unlimited Member: casting demonstrations on the lawn
3:00 Mark Loete, Trout Unlimited Board Member: the geological forces that created these great streams
3:45 John Hoeko, Trout Unlimited Board Member: the art of tying flies
4:30 Will Soter, NYS Guide Association Board Member: cleaning and smoking trout when camping
Lots of things happening from 1 to 5 PM, all for $10 for grownups. Kids 15 and younger are free for the afternoon.
Then, we’ll have a happy hour from 5 to 6 PM, with some special treats, and dinner from 6 to 8 PM. Dinner is $25 plus tax.
We highly recommend reservations for the afternoon and require reservations for dinner – seating is limited! Call us at 800-811-3351 and leave a message about the number in your group and whether you’d like to stay for dinner. We’ll call you back if we have questions, but otherwise, we’ll expect to see you on March 26th.
(And did you notice our new Trout Tales 2016 logo?)
